Hi Meg... If you want to get huge and strong.. go this website: www.stronglifts.com. As you are starting out you need to build ur base.. hence start doing compound exercises...squats, deadlifts, bench presses. If you have a look at any professional bodybuilders, they all have at least 3 compund exercises in their routines.. squats, bench preses and deadlifts. Do these for around 2 years and eat, eat, eat. No amounts of exercise will put on muscle if you dont eat.
There are 2 workouts doing it 3 times a week, alternating, at stronglifts. Start off light and think long term concentrating on technique. Good luck and wish u all the very best in ur endeavour of getting big. Great to see more and more females getting into weight training:o)
