A Buffies Halloween

Ever since the day testing began, we’ve spent almost every minute in the training room. Pushing our strength limits, testing our hidden powers and learning how to control them. The boys monitored our results and were always amazed at the results. We loved pushing ourselves to the limits and reaching new levels in strength & ability. But that soon faded and we became bored. We wanted to go out shopping or enjoy a few hours of swimming or tanning on the sand but Josh kept insisting we stay hidden for now. This was almost beginning to feel like captivity again. Josh knew our frustration since he was captive too, explained how it was in our best interest and we understood why.

Ever since our heroic fire rescue, the daily newspaper had a story about us on the front page. They had titles like: Buffies Save Falling Kitten, Buffies Seen Stopping Bank Robbery, Buffies: Malibu Maidens or Villians? Most of them weren’t true but Buffiemania had hit the town. There have been reported Buffie sightings and tales of our heroic deeds. Some even thought we might be dating celebrities. None of it was true since we’ve been stuck in the mansion.

One of the writers that had been igniting the Buffie frenzy was a reporter named Belle. Last week, in her news column, she invited all the readers to a big Halloween-party.

“…and I especially want to invite the heroic Buffies to this special Halloween party.” We read it and Josh’s expression gave us our answer. “Please don’t ask, please forget about it.” We agreed but these four super powered girls needed to get out. We were going to this party. The question was how?

Office Cam

Mav is at it again! Can't you tell I'm an expert motivator at work. Funny how co-workers don't mind working long hours.

The Buffies - New Life part 2

We slowly awoke and stretched our arms and legs. No one had the urge to stand up so we laid back down and thought about the happenings from the last weeks, especially yesterday. We began to chat and laugh as the sun rose higher and the warmth spread over our bodies. But soon a snarl interrupted our peaceful world. Taking a quick glace over to Amanda, which giggled because the sound was coming from her stomach. Massaging her bulging abs she said, “I guess I need a big breakfast to stop these sounds.” We laughed and agreed with her. So we got out of our big beds and looked for something comfortable to wear. Skin-tight tops and pants seemed to be the decision. You could see every muscle fiber through our clothes, which made them look painted on our skins.

We walked down to the ground floor. Without high heels, we noticed the perfect control we had over our bodies. If we wanted (and we tested it) you wouldn’t hear any of us move. And so Josh proved this correct as we opened the door to the dining room. His head was in the daily newspaper, thoughtfully reading it. He looked up as he heard the door open and welcomed us with a warm smile.

“Good morning, Ladies. Please have a seat and take what you want to eat. How was your night?” He asked.

We took a seat on the fully loaded breakfast table, grinned and answered, “Good morning, Josh. Yeah we slept very well, thanks. How are you doing?”

“Well I feel great, but I am a little worried about your actions last night. They made you popular in Malibu.” He said and showed us the first page of his newspaper. The large headline read “BUFFIES: MALIBU’S NEW HEROES”. While we ate, we took a look at the article. Meg and Diana choked as they saw it. Josh could read from our faces that we were surprised.

Private eyes

A packet of pictures showed up on my front doorstep. They were of me in the last few months, in different places, poses and states of dress (or undress). A little note was attached that said:

Hey Wonderful, couldn't keep spying on you without you knowing. Hope you don't mind - Benji-Dude

No wonder he knew where I lived. Between him & Mav, I really need to get better security. Good thing I like the little red-head!

Thanks for the pics Benji, whoever she may be :)

Meg's Bistro & Inn: Joshua & Megan

Meg's Bistro & Inn is open for business. Please visit the front desk if you would like to make reservations.

Running late as usual as I finally make it to the Bistro. My life seems to be moving at light speed. The office, restaurant, writing, blogging, working out and saving the world leaves me little time to play. Jessica greets me at the door, rolls her eyes and gives me the usual look.

"How long?" I ask her and she points to a table in my special section. There sits Josh with a few empty drinks and a plate of half-eaten appetizers. "What do you think?" she exclaims.

Josh doesn't see me as I walk up and when I get close, he assumes I'm the waitress and orders another drink. The look on his face is priceless when he realizes who it is.

"I'm so sorry to keep you waiting and I hope you forgive me." >>
